A paper titled "Development of theranostic dual-layered Au-liposome for effective tumor targeting and photothermal therapy" was published in J Nanobiotechnology. In this study, LAL, which features three-layer particles of liposome-Au-liposome, outperformed our expections in photothermal therapy compared to AL, that is Au-liposome.
